The metaphase chromosomes of Coilia nasus was obtained from gill and head kidney tissue by the method of
phyohemagglutinin (PHA) and colchicine injection, and then the karyotype was analyzed. By the method of paraffin section,
we knew the sex of C. nasus. The results showed that the female C. nasus was 47 chromosomes in the diploid and the
karyotype formula was 2n=47t, and the male C. nasus was 48 chromosomes in the diploid and the karyotype formula was 2n=
48t. And the sexual chromosome and heteromorphic chromosome was observed, the sex karyotype formula was ZZ-ZO. |
