The effect of white-rot fungi pretreatment on biogas production from the sugarcane leaves was studied. The
results showed that the biogas yield increased with adding white-rot fungi and the biogas peak advanced. When the added
white-rot fungi dosage was 1.5%, the gas yield reached the maximum of 606 L, the highest methane content was 55.9%
and the gas production rate of dry matter was 202 L/kg. The biogas yield had the little difference when the white-rot fungi
dosage was different within 25 days. Therefore, we can also acquire higher biogas yield when shortening the fermentation
time. Under the same experimental conditions, the total biogas yield and the highest methane content pretreatment with
white-rot fungi were lower than that of cellulase pretreatment. Therefore there is a need for further analysis from the strain
domestication, pretreatment time and other aspects. |
