Abstract:
For further investigating the chemical principals of Iris halophila var. sogdiana and gaining finger printing of all abstraction fraction, then providing theoretical bases to develop its medicinal value, phytochemistry composition preliminary systematic and special tests and thin layer chromatography (TLC) were applied to analyze the chemical principals. The results showed that the plant contained alkaloids, organic acid, phenols, tannin, flavonoids, anthraquinone, saponins, coumarin, volatile oils, triterpenes, et al. But no cardiac glycoside, cyanophoric glycoside and aliphatic nitro compounds were found; it showed that 10, 7, 9 and 7 kinds of principals were located in the four fractions after analyzed by TLC and tectorigenin was contained in acetic ether fraction when compared with proof sample. The silica gel plates were analyzed to determine the contents with thin layer chromatogram scanner, the results showed that Rf3, Rf7, Rf5, Rf2 points were the maximum content points in the four fractions respectively. The chemical principals of Iris halophila var. sogdiana were at most in petroleum benzene fraction and acetic ether fraction. There were affluent active constituents in Iris halophila var. sogdiana, therefore it has fine medicinal value.
