Using field survey method, selected representative forest to set sample area in eight typical mangrove
forests in Guangdong province. Gauging each wood to measure several growth indicators including the interval, tree height,
diameter at breast height and ground diameter. SPSS19.0 software was used to study the relationship between tree height
and diameter at breast height(or diameter). And choose standard wood, sampling-cryopreservation-cleaning-drying to study
the biomass. The results were as follows: selected the suitable linear and nonlinear regression equation according to
different tree species in different areas, the determine coefficience (R2) was opposite large and the regression equation
reached extremely significant level. We could know that there was close relationship between tree height and diameter at
breast height (or diameter). In conclusion, these regression equations were suitable for using the tree diameter at breast
height (or diameter) to estimate the tree height and to provide a scientific basis for protection and restoration of mangrove
forest. In addition, Sonneratia apetala爷s average individual biomass was the biggest of all. There were obvious differences
not only in quantity, but also in the distributions of different organs about biomass of mangrove plants. |
