Abstract:
The effects of supplementing microecologics combined with feeding manners of fermentation bed (MCFB) on growth performance of pig and swine house environment were investigated. 400 (Landrace Yorkshire) Duroc pigs (average initial BW of 21.57(2.20)kg were randomly divided to four groups. The experiment lasted 60 days and there were 10 replications per group with 10 pigs per pen. In control group, pigs were fed with basal diet and raised in cement flooring house where the manure was cleared by water. In microecologics group, pigs were fed with basal diet with 0.1% microecologics in their drinking water and raised in cement flooring house where the manure was cleared by water. In dry collection manure house (DCMH) group, pigs were fed with basal diet with 0.1% microecologics in their drinking water and raised in DCMH. In MCFM group, pigs were fed with basal diet with 0.1% microecologics in their drinking water and raised in fermentation bed house. The results showed that growth performance of pigs and apparent digestibility of nutrient increased in MCFB group. The concentration of NH3, H2S, TSP (total suspended particulate) and the total bacteria in swine house of MCFB decreased compared to those in DCMH, environmental quality of air of MCFB was nearer the level of control group. MCFB improved the environmental quality of swine house and economic benefits.
