Resistant level of six Myzus persicae populations in South China to seven pesticides were tested. Results
showed that the six populations developed the highest resistance level to imidacloprid with resistant index from 28.0 to
51.5. Four populations from Chenzhou (Hunan province), Shaoguan (Guangdong province), Meixian (Guangdong province)
and Huiyang (Guangdong province) developed low -level resistance to endosulfan (3.6, 3.8, 5.1 and 7.2, respectively).
Guangzhou (Guangdong province) and Huiyang populations also developed low-level resistance to bifenthrin (9.6 and 7.7,
respectively). Resistance index of Chenzhou population collected from cabbage (Brassica oleracea L.) to carbosulfan was
8.1. The other populations developed moderate resistance level to endosulfan, chorpyriphos, bifenthrin, carbosulfan,
pirimicarb and nitenpyram with resistant index from 10.6 to 28.0. |
