A PP2C gene named BdPP2C2 was isolated from Brachypodium distachyon, and the result of sequence
analysis proved that the length of its ORF was 1 368 bp. Phylogenetic analysis revealed that BdPP2C2 had the closest
genetic relationship with AtPP2C56. Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) assay reveale that the
expression level of BdPP2C2 was induced by ABA, ethylene, H2O2, NaCl and cold treatments. These results indicated that
BdPP2C2 was a response factor in the condition of abiotic stresses, and it might be regulated by relevant signaling
molecules. |
