Abstract:
      In recent years, the start-ups boom, the development of county economy and characteristic township, the changes in the macroeconomic environment and family factors have contributed to a growing number of local transfer of the rural labor forces who choose to stay at home being engaged in secondary and tertiary industries. Empirical studies fimd that the gender of rural labor forces has a significant impact on their geographical transfer choice, males have a higher tendency to select off-site transfer than females, and women are more inclined to the local transfer. Meanwhile, the minor children have a significant positive impact on the local transfer of rural labor forces and the families with minor children are more likely to choose local transfer. And vocational skills training has a significantly negative impact on local transfer of rural labor forces. Currently, Sichuan province need to promote rural labor transfer reasonably and orderly, should accelerate urbanization, promote the development of county economy and enhance the agricultural labor force comprehensive ability to strengthen their employment ability.
