The photosynthetic characteristics, yield and the main influence factors of Legume and Gramineous forage in desert steppe were compared and analyzed. The results showed that net photosynthetic rate (Pn), transpiration rate (E),stomatal conductance (Gs), intercellular CO2 concentration (Ci) of Legume forage were higher than those of Gramineousforages. The daily variation of Pn of two kinds of forage were in single-peak curve, and the peak of Legume forage waslater than that of Gramineous forage. The daily variation of E of Legume forage showed bimodal curve, while Gramineousforage showed single-peak curve. The daily variation of Gs of Legume forage showed single-peak curve, Gramineous forageshowed a declining curve. The daily variation of Ci of two kinds of forage were in “V”type. Leaf area index (LAI), specificleaf weight(SLW), chlorophyll a/b, nutrients and yield of Leguminous forage which had higher photosynthetic efficiency and nutritional value were higher than those of Gramineous forage. Root/shoot(R/S) ratio Leguminous forage was higher than that of Gramineous forage, it showed that Leguminous forage allocated more biomass to roots. On the contrary, Gramineous forage allocated more biomass to the ground. Correlation analysis showed that the photosynthetic characteristics of forage influenced nutrients more, while soil organic matter (SOM) and itseffective components influenced herbage yield more in steppe desert. Comprehensive analysis and comparison shows that Leguminous forage can be used as good forage planting on steppe desert. |
