Stay-Green protein (SGR) playes a very important role in regulating plant chlorophyll degradation and aging process. In this study, melon genome data were downloaded from melon genome sequencing projects websites. The structure, evolution relation, conserved motifs and expression profile were researched by bioinformatics method. The results showed that 4 SGR genes were identified in melon genome. And CmSGR01-CmSGR04 were named respectively, with protein amino acid number between 167-257 aa. Through the analysis of phylogenetic tree, melon and cucumber belonged to the same family, and SGR gathered together. Relative to other species, the SGR proteins evoluted smaller than in other species differentiation. MEME analysis confirmed SGR protein family contained five conserved motifs. Through the analysis of CmSGRs gene families, the CmSGRs protein structure and function were further clarified to provide theoretical
foundation and valuable information. |
