Genetic diversity of 5 Citrus accessions cultivated in Zhaoqing Area of Guangdong Province, was assessed with random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) markers. 40 form 60 arbitrary primers were selected, which could well generated amplication products repeatably and stably. Using these 40 primers, a total of 459 bands were identified, 309 of which were polymorphic, corresponding to 67.32% of the amplification products. The genetic similarity coefficient (GSC) of paired varieties ranged from 0.33 to 0.74. Cluster analysis was conducted using UPGMA. The result showed the 5 Citrus accessions could be divided into two groups when GSC was 0.41, the group Ⅰcontained Fortunella margarita (Lour.) Swingle alone, while the group Ⅱwas comprised of the other four Citrus accessions. When GSC was 0.55 Citrus reticulata Blanco var. gonggan was the only member of subgroup I, the subgroup Ⅱwas consisted of C. reticulata ‘Shangtangju’, C. reticulata Blanco cv.‘Bayueju’and C. sunki Hort. ex Tanaka. |
