In this study, combined with oil palm pulp transcriptome sequence information reported in the literature, a
total of 40 728 EST of oil palm from NCBI (http://www.ncbi.nlm nih.Gov/genbank/) were downloaded and analyzed,
resulting in 20 054 non-redundant sequences with total length of 32 637.947 kb. 4 538 SSRs were discovered, and the
frequency of these SSRs was 22.6%. Among them, single nucleotide type was the dominant type, accounting for 51.2%,
followed by dinucleotide(20.4%) and trinucleotide (17.9%). 400 pairs of SSR primers for PCR polymorphism detection were
randomly selected, and 29 pairs of PCR primers were polymorphic, of which 11 primer pairs showed polymorphism among 4
different oil palm varieties. |
