To search the effects of fertilization on the growth of young Chinese fir plantation and the release characteristics of fertilizer, the sample plot was set in Administration Bureau of State Forest Farms of Fujian Province. The results showed that, compared with control, the growth of tree height and diameter at breast height (DBH) of fertilization treatments respectively increased 3%~17% and 1%~10% in the first year after fertilization, and respectively increased 9%~ 35% and 16%~62% in the second year after fertilization. With the growth of Chinese fir, the content of organic matter and total potassium in soil of fertilization treatments generally had a decreasing trend every year, while the content of total nitrogen, total phosphorus, hydrolyzable nitrogen, available potassium first increased and then decreased after fertilization.In addition, deep fertilization of Bag-Controlled Fertilizer was conducive to the release of nitrogen and phosphorus and to
improve fertilizer efficiency in long-term. |
