Abstract:
To provide a scientific basis for the vegetation community configuration and fast-grown materials chosen for artificial vegetation zones of the bank belt in new eco-city of Tianjin, the soil properties are studied and the plants in different areas are also surveyed. The species richness index, species diversity index, ecological dominance index and evenness index are chosen to study the characters of different vegetation types and the relationship between various indices and soil factors are analyzed. The results show that, the species richness indexes and the diversity indexes of the plant communities of artificial vegetation zones at bank and at shore are higher than those of plant communities in other area; the dominance indexes and evenness indexes of the plant communities from 3 artificial vegetation zones show no significant difference respectively; there is a significant difference between species richness index of natural vegetation zone and that of artificial vegetation zone; the pH value and the content of total phosphorus of soil are significantly related to the community diversity of vegetation in waterfront of the new eco-city, respectively, which means the pH value and the content of total phosphorus are two factors having a great influence on the plant community diversity; soil organic matter and total N content are not correlative to the plant community diversity, respectively.
