In order to study the influence of different soil density on seedling growth of sugarcane variety Funong 39,we observed the germination and growth performance at early seedling stage, medium seedling stage, later seedling stage under three soil densities (1.1g/mL, 1.2g/mL, 1.3g/mL) from potted planting. The results showed that, there was no significant difference with the germination rate among different soil densities, which reflected that this variety had a wider adaptability to the test soil density, but the looser soil was expected helpful to establish the basic seedling population. The influence of soil density was significant on three leaf age seedling, by far, this effect weakened away after entering the medium seedling stage, but the denser soil decreased the growth uniformity on sugarcane later seedling stage. The results can provide technical requirements to sugarcane field subsoiling and planting, and then provide references for subsequent cultivation to make a good topsoil condition for high yield determination. |
