Analysis of mechanism among the influencing factors on farmers'continued willingness to participate in the family farm——Taking Songjiang, Shanghai as an example |

Abstract: |
Family farm has got the attention of farmers, governments and theorists in its development process as a
basic form of organization of agricultural operations. It is becoming organizational guarantee for the development of modern agriculture. Based on the investigation in seven villages in Songjiang, Shanghai city, the author made an empirical analysis about influencing factors on farmers’continued willingness to participate in “family farm”by using the Probit model and structural equation model. The research showed that the possibility of becoming a professional farmer, the ease of transfer to other industries, the income effect of land transfer and the perception of fairness of land transfer income distribution had great influence on farmers’continued willingness to participate in the family farm. Finally, In order to promote “family farm”, the author put forward some proposals, such as building capacity according to different characteristics of farmers and achieving a breakthrough on farmers’differentiation and land transfer. |
