Abstract:
      SSR was used to construct the DNA fingerprint and analyze the genetic similarity of 24 japonica hybrid rice in Taihu area. The results showed that 24 SSR primers amplified a total of 105 polymorphic DNA bands, averaging 4.38 bands per primer. In this study, 5 pairs of core SSR makers (RM336, RM72, RM1195, RM19 and RM267) were screened among 24 pairs of SSR primers to establish DNA fingerprint of the japonica hybrid rice. The result of cluster analysis showed that genetic similarities among the 24 lines ranged from 0.69 to 0.99. The values of similar coefficient were rather high, which indicated that genetic diversity of japonica hybrid rice in Taihu area was correspondingly narrow. The cluster analysis also showed that 24 japonica hybrid rice could be divided into three groups at 0.71 of the similar coefficient.
