In order to explore the suitable substrates for Anoectochilus roburghii, an experiment was carried out to study the effect of different substrates on development and yield of Anoectochilus roburghii. The results showed that the development and biomass of A. roburghii were very sensitive to substrates and fresh weight was more sensitive to substrates than dry weight. The growth of A. roburghii under treatment E was the best with the higher biomass, wider diameter and longer stem, more and longer root, more leaves. The results of correlation analysis indicated that the relationship between fresh weight and dry weight of A. roburghii was highly significant. The relationship between biomass and stem length, stem diameter and root length was very close and we could increase stem length, stem diameter and root length for improving biomass by the suitable substrate. |
