Abstract: |
In order to explore the effects of feed nutrition and water temperature on the growth of Quasipaa spinosa tadpoles, 5 kinds of feed nutrition and 3 temperatures were used to breed 30-day-old tadpoles separately, and the body length, weight and metamorphism ratio of tadpoles were measured. The results showed that, feed nutrition and water temperature affected the metamorphosis of Q. spinosa tadpoles significantly. Tadpoles in group I with the highest animal protein content advanced into the abnormal period, and the average weight was 0.625 g at 80-day-old, while tadpoles in group VI,with the highest plant protein content were the last ones to get into abnormal period, and the average weight was 0.553 g at 90-day-old. Under the same nutrition condition, tadpoles in group VI,with higher water temperature got into abnormal period earlier than those in other two groups, and the tadpole metamorphosis of group VI,appeared at the 70th day. The results show that high animal protein content and high water temperature are conducive to the abnormal growth of tadpoles. |
