Abstract: |
By using selective enrichment culture with SA as the sole carbon source, a ortho-hydroxybenzoic aciddegrading
bacterial strain X6 was isolated from the continuous cropping of flue-cured tobacco soil in Fuquan Area of Guizhou Provience Tobacco Institute. The stain was identified as Stenotrophomonas sp., based on its morphological,
physiological, and biochemical characteristics, and similarity identification of 16S rDNA sequence. The physiological -
biochemical characteristic and the effects on the degradation of the strain were investigated by shaking flask culture. After shaking culture with the initial concentration of SA being 300 mg/L-400 mg/L at 30℃for 7 days, the degradation rate and degradation quantity of SA were 18.6% and 63.2 mg. Adding 400 mg/L of consistence, the mount of SA-degrading bacterial
strain X6 was ran up to the most, and the its degradation rate reached the fastest by 18.5 mg/d in the sixth day. The
bacteria has a potential application prospect in the planting tobacco soil remediation and continuous cropping of flue-cured tobacco. |
