Abstract:
      The influences of Agave sisalana leaf extracts on postharvest disease and quality of Shatang mandarin were studied. Different concentrations of A. sisalana leaf extracts were used to soak Shatang mandarin placed at 25 (±1)℃. Meanwhile Prochloraz was used to the control. The results showed that when the amount of extracts was 250 mL, the postharvest decay rate and the incidence of Penicillium digitatum effectively reduced, and the weightlessness rate fell. Meanwhile the decrease of contents of TSS, TA and VC slowed down. The effect of A. sisalana leaf extracts was equivalent to that of Prochloraz. The effects of postharvest diease prevention and quality were positively correlated with concentration of A .sisalana leaf extracts. So A. sisalana leaf extracts had value in postharvest fresh-keeping for Shatang mandarin.
