Currently on the market, there is no planter used for the planting of disease-free seed sugarcane, thus a
new kind of sugarcane planter is developed for this purpose. Parameter selection and structural design were made on key
components of the planter, including feed system, fertilizer application system, openers and framework, according to
agronomic requirements for disease-free seed cane planting. Finite element analysis was conducted on key stressed parts
and components. The application experiment results showed that the structures, performances and technical parameters of
the planter all satisfied the design requirements; and that the planter was capable of completing operations of furrow
opening, fertilizer application, seeding, plastic film covering and soil covering in one time. The prototype showed operation quality that met farming demands and good operational reliability. |
