In order to promote economic and social development, the accelerated development of rural urbanization requires the rural residential land use to transfer from extensive to intensive. This article ventured to explore the intensive utilization potential of rural settlements by taking the evaluation of per capita area of construction land and 16 administrative villages of Chong kan town in Chong qing as the basic units. In the light of the intensive degree of rural residential land, we divided it into 3 levels: intensive use, general use, extensive use. According to the theoretical potential of land use of rural settlements, we estimated the potential coefficient by selecting 7 natural, economic and social evaluations, also calculated the achievable potential value of intensive land use of rural settlements in the standard of per capita area of construction land of 150 m2, 190 m2 with the purpose to ease the contradiction between supply and demand in the rural urbanization process, and to improve the service of the rural residential land intensive utilization. |
