Abstract:
This paper took land consolidation project in Shanggao county of the southern China hilly region as an example, applied methods consisted of outdoor field survey, indoor test analysis and GIS technology, used the former round of the cultivated land quality grade update method, parameter system, evaluation factors and weights to evaluate the cultivated land quality grade in the land consolidation construction area in 2011 and 2012, and finally got the results including the economical grade, utilization grade and natural grade of the cultivated land. At the same time, this paper analyzed the reasons caused the change of the cultivated land quality grade, which appeared before and after land consolidation project. The results showed that, compared with the cultivated land quality grade before the land consolidation, the cultivated land grade rose after land consolidation. The basic infrastructure and drainage condition in the field improved obviously but the soil nutrients had slight change, this showed that the soil nutrients and the soil quality were interrelated after the land consolidation project, the soil nutrients could not change in a short time. The effect of land consolidation project on soil nutrients would be obvious with the extension of time. Evaluating the cultivated land quality change caused by the land consolidation could realize the comprehensive management of the cultivated land quality and quantity. The results could be used as the basis of land consolidation work performance evaluation and provide recommendations for future land consolidation research.
