Taking Keratin associated protein 1.1 (KAP1.1) gene of yak as the research object, a specific primerwas designed according to the mRNA sequence of cattle KAP1.1 gene (Accession No. NM _001105369.1). Yak scomplete CDS sequences of KAP1.1 were obtained by RT-PCR, PCR and cloning, the sequences were submitted toNCBI (Accession No. KJ095199) and analyzed by bioinformatics. The results showed that, the length of CDSsequences in yak KAP1.1 gene was 501 bp encoding 166 amino acids which belonged to hydrophilic protein. Thesecondary structures were mainly composed of the alpha helix, extended strand, Beta turn and random coil. Theamino acid sequence had the highest homology with cattle, and it had the complete family proteins domain of Highsulphur keratin-associated protein. |
