The comparative studies on the photosynthetic characteristics of four Pistacia species were carried out
using Li-6400XT portable photosynthesis system in the field light condition. The results showed that the diurnal
variation in net photosynthetic rate of four Pistacia species presented a single-apex curve. There was no obvious
midday depression冶phenomenon occurred in all. There was a negative correlation between intercellular CO2
concentration and photosynthetic rate. The minimum value of photosynthetic rate was 13.393 mol/m2s, the
maximum value of photosynthetic rate was 18.603 mol/m2s. The value of apparent quantum efficiencies was
between 0.04 and 0.05. The minimum value of light compensation points was 42.007 mol/m2s, the maximum value
of light compensation points was 201.622 mol/m2s. The value of light saturation points was between 1 514.195
mol/m2s and 1 973.116mol/m2s. There was significant difference among four Pistacia species in photosynthetic
characteristics, especially Pistacia hybrid (UCB-I) was better in photosynthetic rate. |
