The use of pesticides can reduce the loss of crops and increase crop yield, but the abuse of pesticides has a negative impact on human health and ecological environment, therefore the use of pesticides must reach a balance. According to the data of corn farmers in Shandong province in 2010, this paper used the pesticide damage abatement function to study the effects of pesticide tax on the use of pesticides of corn farmers in Shandong province,
to provide scientific basis to formulate reasonable pesticide policies, ensure food safety and protect the environment. The results showed that low pesticide tax increased the use of pesticides, while high tax could reduce the use of pesticides effectively, and didn't affect farmers' profits. |
