Abstract:
Optimizing land use structure is an important way to lead low-carbon in regional economy development. In the circumstance of low carbon economy, taking Guangxi Beibu Gulf economic zone as an example, GreyPrediction and Grey Linear Programming were used to optimize the comprehensive land use planning in the newlydevelopingregions. The results shows that based on the current land use planning, there is a potential in mitigatingcarbon emissions and increasing carbon storage. In addition, the scale of forest land use, urban industrial land useand rural residential land use is closely related to the effect of carbon emissions. The paper also put forward thatpeople should pay attention to mitigating the effect of land-use carbon emissions by adjusting the land use structureand guiding low-carbonization land development mode. These adjustments ask human to try great efforts in protectingforest land and restricting moderately increase in forest land use. Besides that, on the base of the protection of socialeconomy development, people should strictly control the randomly growth of construction land and reduce the scale ofrural residential region
