Abstract:
Through the tracking of vegetable industry chain, this paper summarized two types of circulation patterns of vegetables in Shandong and Beijing, and compared this two patterns from the perspective of circulation cost. The results showed that the circulation cost per unit for vegetables in large wholesale market was 0.37 Yuan/kg, which was higher than that of the field market circulation cost of 0.22 Yuan/kg. The unit cost of vegetable production was higher than the unit cost of vegetable circulation, the proportions of production cost in total circulation cost for vegetables in large wholesale market and field market were 58% and 70%. Transportation cost and packaging material cost accounting for large proportion of vegetable circulation cost. Based on the results, we put forward countermeasures and suggestions to reduce vegetable circulation cost, including reducing the circulation links and innovating vegetable circulation patterns; improving the organization extent of farmers and the efficiency of means of production; promoting suburban vegetable cultivation actively and easing the regional contradiction of vegetable supply and demand.
