Abstract: |
Angelica sinensis seeds were treated with different concentrations of garlic root exudates,to study
the effects of garlic root exudates on seed germination and seedling growth of A. sinensis. The results showed that the
promotion effect of garlic root exudates on germination rate, germination potential and germination index increased first
and then declined, and the promotion effect was significant at low concentration(0.2 mg/mL). α-amylase activity of
germinating seeds treated by 0.2 mg/mL garlic root exudates was significantly higher than that of control group. Low
concentration treatment(0.1-0.2 mg/mL)promoted the accumulation of soluble sugar in A. sinensis seedlings, increased
root-crown ratio and didn’t cause significant damage to seedling cells. The results indicated that garlic root exudates with
low concentration(0.2 mg/mL)could effectively improve the seed germination, promote sugar accumulation in seedling
leaves, improve the resistance of seedlings so as to form strong seedlings and lay the foundation for good quality and high
production of A. sinensis. |
