| Biological characteristics of Noni anthracnose |

| Abstract: |
| Noni anthrax is a common disease，can harm Noni leaf，fruit and tender stems，can occur throughout the
year，and the causal agent belongs to Colletotrichum orbiculare（Berk.& Mont）. In order to better realize this disease，
prevent the extent of infestation to control it，the paper researched the biological characteristics of the pathogenic fungus
and observed the effects of medium，temperature，pH value，light，carbon source and nitrogen source on its mycelium
growth. The results showed that the pathogenic fungus could grow at 10℃-35℃，and the most suitable temperature was
26℃. The pathogen could grow when pH was 3-9，and pH 5-8 was the best. Under the condition of 24 h illumination，
colony grew fast，different illumination conditions had no significant effect on mycelial growth . It had different effections
when different carbon sources or different nitrogen sources were added in PDA，xylose，Rha and amylodextrine were the
best exogenous carbon sources for fungal growth，and beef extract，peptoneand，glycine were the best exogenous nitrogen
sources for fungal growth. |
