Abstract: |
The application of compound microbial inoculants in the aerobic composting of municipal sludge was
studied. Using municipal sludge, mushroom compost and waste clay as the raw materials, this paper monitored and
analyzed compost temperature,moisture content,pH,electrical conductivity,organic matter,total nitrogen and seed
germination rate. The results showed that each composte temperature higher than 55℃ remained above 3 days, meeting
the requirements of hygiene index about the compost rotten. Seed germination rate was greater than 80%, nontoxic
basically. Compared with the control group, the inoculum not only accelerated the heating rate, increased in the maximum
temperature, but also increased the water loss, accelerated the rate of degradation of organic matter, reduced the loss of
nitrogen, improved the seed germination rate. |
