| To explore the rice resources with resistance to white-backed planthopper（WBPH），4 newallelopathic rice lines and 3 non-allelopathic rice lines were evaluated by using seedling resistance identification，honeydew measurement at tillering stage and field investigation of WBPH populations. The results of seedling resistanceidentification showed that，the allelopathic rice line Huagandao3 and hybrid rice variety Hualiangyou689 had resistanceto WPBH，allelopathic rice line Hualiangyou3 and Huazhenyou3 had moderate resistance，while the allelopathic riceline Nongzhenyou3 was susceptible，the conventional rice lines Xiangyazhan and Hangmeizhan were highly susceptibleto WPBH. Among these resistant lines in seedling resistance identification，the honeydew amounts and populations ofWBPH in field of Huagandao3，Hualiangyou3 and Hualiangyou689 were less than those of susceptible control varietyTN1. The results indicated that Huagandao3，Hualiangyou3 and Hualiangyou689 showed some resistance to WPBH，theserice lines had application value. |
