| Resources changes of Pragmites australis and its impact factorsin small lake of Bosten Lake in recent 50 years |

| Abstract: |
| Taking the small lake in Bosten Lake of Xinjiang as study area，based on relevant literature review andfield surveys，the change characteristics of Pragmites australis yield，area and quality，and the main impact factorsof these changes in recent 50 years（from 1958 to 2010）were analyzed. The results showed that the P. australis yieldof the small lake in Bosten Lake had a slowly increasing trend after its first drop in recent 50 years，while the P.australis distribution area had a trend with expansion followed by shrinkage. There was an overall declining trendin P. australis resources，the P. australis distribution area of the first，second and third grade all reduced，whilethe distribution area of the fourth grade of P. australis increased. There was a significant correlation betweenP. australis yield and water level. From 1958 to 1982，the regression equation was y=-4.9526x2+10379x-5E+06（R=0.88）；from 1983 to 2010，the regression equation was y=-0.507x2+1062.8x-556910（R=0.78）. There was aclose relationship between P. australis growth and groundwater level，the growth rate was the highest at the groundwaterlevel of 1.97 meters. There was a significant correlation between mineralization of water and P. australis yield，theregression equation was y=-12.39x2+32.033x-5.6795（R=-0.84）. |
