Abstract:
      In order to study the differences in egg quality between high-yielding layer and native layer,egg quality from the age at first egg to 72-week-old of green-eggshell layer black feather pure lines and White Leghorn were measured and compared in different weeks. The results showed that,egg weight,albumen height,eggshell color( L, a,b),eggshell strength,yolk rate and rate of yolk and albumen in each week between green-eggshell layer and White Leghorn had extremely significant differences,the same as Haugh unit except at 72-week-old. The egg index at the age of first egg and 32-week-old had extremely significant difference,yolk color at the age of 32,40 and 56-week-old, eggshell thickness at the age of first egg,48 and 60-week-old,eggshell rate in each week beside 40,52 and 72 weekold, all of them had significant differences in the two breeds. Egg weight,Haugh unit and rate of albumn weight and yolk weight of green-eggshell layer and White Leghorn in the period from the age of first egg to 72-week-old could be replaced by 38-week-old and 39-week-old,48-week-old and 50-week-old,36-week-old and 32-week-old, respectively
