Based on the theory of value chain, a set of scientific and reasonable evaluation indexes system was
built from four dimensions including tourism resources, marketing, production technology and management. Then G1
method was applied to determine weight-coefficient of each index and matter-element extension evaluation model
was applied to evaluate the comprehensive competitiveness of agricultural tourism garden. Taking Guangzhou
Vegetables Park as a case study, the feasibility and effectiveness of matter-element extension evaluation model was
verified. The results showed that the competitiveness of tourism resources and production technology was at average
level, while the garden was competitive in tourism traffic and production capacity. Meanwhile, the competitiveness of
marketing and management was in poor condition and needed to be improved urgently |
