Abstract: |
Based on the long-term monitoring data, the paper analyzed the changes of cultivated soil available
potassium in Guangdong Province since 1984. The results showed that the overall level of Guangdong soil available
potassium content increased by one time, with an average annual increase of 1.8 mg/kg since 1984. In all the monitoring
points, the frequency of middle upper level(higher than 100 mg/kg)increased form 10.1%(the period of“ 7th Five-
Year Plan”)to 38.4%(the period of“ 12th Five-Year Plan”),the frequency of low level(lower than 100 mg/kg)
decreased form 89.9%(the period of“ 7th Five-Year Plan”)to 61.5%(the period of“ 12th Five-Year Plan”),the
available potassium was still in a relatively lack of level. The results also showed that the increase rates of soil available
potassium content in different regions were obviously different, the content of soil available potassium in the Pearl River
Delta region increased by 76 mg/kg,the annual average growth was 2.6 mg/kg,which was obviously higher than that of
other regions. The main reason of increase of soil available potassium content was to use potash fertilizers. The content
of soil available potassium of different cultivated land types, different fertilization treatments and straw returning has a
close relationship with the input of potash fertilizers. |
