Abstract: |
According to the analysis of cotton morphological topology characteristics and spatial distribution
law,a virtual plant visualization method was proposed using three spline interpolation curves to control the plant
parameters. Based on this method,geometrical models of organs including bolls,leaf,branch,etc were generated to
build cotton group under the organ position parameters with a tracing method step by step. The model could effectively
reflect the distribution characteristics and spatial topological structure of cotton plant shape through comparative
analysis. Finally,MATLAB was used as the developing tool to exploit a visualization system based on the cotton
morphological parameters,then we conducted dynamic collision detection and parameter optimization,and achieved
the output of cotton population visualization display and three-dimensional position coordinates data. Providing
certain research value and application prospect of this research can be for agricultural research and teaching,crop
growth design and management control field. |
