Abstract: |
Southern rice black-streaked dwarf disease(SRBSDD)is transmitted by small white-backed
planthopper Sogatella furcifera. Controlling the population of this pest is the most efficent way to prevent epidemic of
SRBSDD. To find effective method for prevention of SRBSDD,the field control effects of different pesticide treatments
with pesticide-coating,seedling spraying and early field spraying mixed with application of amino acid fertilizer were
studied. The results showed that the effective control method of SRBSDD was a complex one, including rice seedcoating(
2 g/kg seeds)with 70% thiamethoxam WS before sowing,spraying at the 1-leaf stage,on the second day
before transplanting, the seventh day and the twenty-second day after transplanting, respectively. By the treatment,
rice had stronger and more sprouts, with thicker green leaves during the rice growing stage, and the control effects on
S. furcifera and SRBSDD amounted to 77. 41% and 91.44%,indicating this pesticide solution could be extended and
applied widely. |
