Dynamic mechanism of development of familyfarms in Yangtze delta areas—A case study of Nantong |

Abstract: |
With the support of national policy and improvement of social service mechanism,a number of
household farms which possess the characters of modern agriculture have emerged in Yangtze Delta Areas. Family farms
become the important economic organization to promote the Large-scale agricultural operation,improve the efficiency
of agricultural production,and change the farming methods. Nantong locates in the central coastal of Yangtze delta
areas,adjoins Shanghai,Suzhou,Yancheng and Taizhou. Its geographical features and development level of modern
agriculture decide the development trend of family farm,which has typical significance in the Yangtze delta region. This
paper took the development of family farms in Nantong as example,combined with the survey of family farms in each
county,expounded the status of development of family farms,analyzed the dynamic mechanism of development of family
farms,and put forward relevant policy suggestions. |
