In this paper,Tongyu county,Dehui county and Antu county of Jilin province were taken as typical
counties to study the differences of spatial patters of rural settlements. The results were useful to carry out land
consolidation, optimize land use pattern and promote intensive use of land in rural areas. Compling Kernel Density
Estimation method,Ripley’s K function, landscape metrics with spatial analysis methods of GIS,the study deeply
and comprehensively analyzed the differences of spatial patterns of rural settlements among three typical counties and
the factors which influence the spatial distribution of rural settlements. The results showed that, the distribution pattern
of rural settlements in Antu presented as band pattern, while that of Dehui and Tongyu displayed a dispersing pattern.
The L(h)function value indicated that the aggregation level of rural settlements in Antu was the highest among the
three typical counties, while that of Dehui was at the lowest level. The radiation function of roads on rural settlements
decreased with the distance from the roads, especially in Antu. The influence of river on the spatial distribution of rural
settlements in Antu was obvious, but was not significant in Dehui and Tongyu. More than 90% of rural settlements were
concentrated on the region with slopes less than 10 degrees in three typical counties. The rural settlements of Antu also
spreaded at other slope grade. |
