Abstract: |
To overcome the soil degradation and improve the quality of tobacco leaves, two kinds of biological fertilizer were compounded by using organic matter and beneficial soil microorganisms fermentation technology. Pot experiments were conducted to test the fertilizer effects on the planting tobacco soils and tobacco quality. The results
showed that the application of compound fertilizer special for tobacco combined with biological fertilizer A displayed
the best effect on tobacco quality. The quality of tobacco leaves were improved with leaf width, high nitrate reductase
activity in the growth period, and the reduction of protein contents significantly in the tobacco mature period. The
application effect of Fertilizer A was better than that of fertilizer B. Fertilizer A played a significant role in promoting
the dry matter accumulation of tobacco leaves from rosette stage to mature. Two kinds of biological fertilizer increased
the accumulation of free proline in the late growth stage, and improved the pigment in mature stage,as well as the
potassium contents of the root, stem and leaf potassium content. |
