Abstract: |
According to the growth status and resistance performance of 25 Eucalyptus clones in different regions,
a comparative analysis of the preserving rate, diameter, height, volume, growing stock and wind-resistance was carried
out. The results showed that the preserving rate of clones L9,H5,UT28 and‘ Huaan 2’ were still above 90% after 5
years. Taking the average population growth at 5-years age as standard, clones UT26,‘Huaan 2’,UT28,U27,
UT6,‘Huaan 1’,‘Guang 9’,U23,H9,H5,L10,U28 and L9 had higher diameter,height and volume than the
average population growth;clones UT8,‘Huaan 1’,‘Huaan 2’,ZU6,UT6,UT28 and‘ Guang 9’ had strong wind
resistance. Based on the above factors ,the result of principle component analysis( PCA) and cluster analysis showed
that the comprehensive performances of clones UT6,‘Huaan 2’,UT28,‘Guang 9’,and U27 were the best, which
could provide a reference for breeding of Eucalyptus clones with fast-growing and strong resistance. Clones H10,U36,
H1 and L3 were the worst, which were not suitable for planting in Leizhou peninsula of China. |
