Abstract:
      The nucleotide and amino acid sequences homology of the gE and TK genes of the eight isolates with published sequences were analyzed, the results showed that the homology of nucleotide sequences of gE and TK were up to 97.3%-99.9%, 98.7%-99.9%, respectively, while the homology of amino acid sequences of gE and TK were 94.6%-99.8% and 98.1%-99.3%. Genetic evolution analysis indicated that the isolates in our study had a far relationship with the recent strains from other provinces and contries, the gE and TK all had multi-sites mutations in the major domain of amino acid sequence. These results indicated that porcine pseudorabies virus in Guangdong province had mutated much,the results could provide candidates of vaccine against PRV and be helpful to prevent PRV.
