| Analysis on the management characteristics of carbon sink forest in Guangdong province |

| Abstract: |
| It has received more and more international and domestic attention that increasing forest carbon
sink is an important way to deal with global climate change. In recent years，carbon sink forest developed rapidly in
Guangdong province. This paper expounded the current management situation the carbon sink forest in Guangdong
province，divided the management participants of carbon sink forest in Guangdong province into management entities
and management objects for analysis，and pointed out that the management of carbon sink forest in Guangdong
province had the characteristics that，government played a leader role in impelling，non-government organizations
heavily involved in it，native broad-leaved tree species played a primary role，the ownership of forest land was
unclear，there were more forms in regulatory and it was mainly for the domestic carbon sink market. This paper also
discussed these characteristics. |
