Abstract: |
This paper analyzed the regularity of organogenesis of early maturing machine-picked cotton
Xinluzao No.51 and the effects by meteorological factors,to provide effective theoretical support for the development
of machine-picked cotton industry according to local conditions. 10 consecutive growing cotton plants were selected
after emergence, the plant height, occurrence and shedding of leaves and buds were investigated in the whole
growth period. The results showed that the leaf emergence velocity of Xinluzao No.51 was significantly affected by
the temperature and sunshine duration in the process of true leaf formation;expanding speed of the third leaf was the
slowest;there were no significant differences in the fourth to tenth leaves, leaf emergence velocity steady increased
15 leaves later. The plant height showed a slow-fast-slow growth process with the increase of leaf age,and the
growth of plant height was quadratic curve during the period of flat growth. The middle and lower boll rate of the
species was high and in the first fruit section, the boll forming was stable. |
