Abstract: |
To solve the reduction of available nutrient and soil deterioration under conventional fertilizer
management with over-application of fertilizer especially nitrogen fertilizer in banana plantation,a field trail
was conducted to evaluate the effects of woody peat( WP) and humic acid( HAs) on yield and quality of
‘Baxijiao’ under equal chemical pure nutrient input. The results showed that, under equal chemical pure
nutrient input, the yield with WP application at 7 500 kg/hm2 treatment and HAs at 3 750 kg/hm2 increased
significantly by 12.62% and 15.39%,respectively. The contents of soluble sugar and Brix both increased. The
fruit quality was improved. WP application at 3750 kg/hm2 and 7 500 kg/hm2 significantly reduced the NO3
-
content by 44% and 45% in the 60-90 cm soil layer compared with recommended fertilization treatment, and
the HAs treatment reduced more than 53%. Thus, the risk of migration of nitrate to environment was reduced. The available potassium content of WP and HAs treatments improved in the 30-90 cm soil layer compared to
recommended fertilization treatment. The combination of WP,HAs and chemical fertilizer is recommended to
banana plantation. |
