Abstract: |
In order to find botanical antifungal substances that can prevent Peronophythora litchi Chen, using
the mycelial growth rate in vitro culture inhibition test, the antifungal effects of eugenol, matrine and berberine were
measured after inoculation of litchi fruit in storage. The results show that three plant extracts had inhibitory effects on
Peronophythora. The toxicity regression equation of eugenol was y =1.5909x+9.6688,the EC50 was 1.16 μg/mL. The
toxicity regression equation of berberine was y =1.2129x+6.6709,the EC50 was 42.03 μg/mL. The toxicity regression
equation of matrine was y =1.6217x+6.5849,the EC50 was 105.06 μg/mL. The browning index of fruit inoculated
Phytophthora treated with eugenol was 96.9%,and the disease index was 100.0%. Compared with the control, the
browning index of berberine and matrine was not obvious, but the disease indexes were 68.4% and 75.3%,which
were significantly different from that of the control. Among the three plant extracts, eugenol had the best inhibitory
effect, next one was berberine and the worst was matrine. For inhibitory effect of fruit, the best was berberine,
followed by matrine and eugenol. |
