Survey of parasites infection in pigs of intensive farms in Guangdong state farms |

Abstract: |
To improve the prevention and control of parasitic diseases in intensive pig farms in Guangdong
State Farms,totally 21 intensive pig farms in Guangdong State Farms were investigated in this study. The results
showed that these main parasites were detected in Guangdong State Farms using direct smear method ,including
Balantidium coli(38.37%),Coccidia(4.68%)and Strong yloide(1.07%),but other nematodes such as
Ascarissum,Trichocephalus and Oesophagostomum were not detected. B. coli cyst and Coccidia could be detected
in all stages of swine. So the major focus in the swinery management will still be B. coli and coccidian in the
following few years. |
