Abstract:
      There is a certain internal logic relation between the factor endowment of migrant workers and their employment decision. The analysis shows that the effect of material capital endowment on migrant workers’ employment decision-making is not significant. Migrant workers with high level of human endowment tend to obtain employment opportunities through marketization,and migrant workers whih low level of human capital endowment or higher social capital endowment tend to get job by relatives and friends. For migrant workers with different risk preference,choosing employment outside the prefecture is to realize their employment maximization. The level of education and skills are the keys to increase the income of migrant workers,using social capital can improve the income level of male migrant workers. The role of married women in the family makes their employment dependent on their husbands,and the role of social capital endowment is declining,and gender differences in income levels are more pronounced.
